to celebrate National Falls Prevention Awareness Month observed in September. This annual campaign unites local communities and health professionals to reduce fall risks and promote healthy, independent aging.
What is Fall Prevention BINGO?
• The Cards: Instead of random numbers, the squares on the bingo cards feature safety tips, assistive devices, or home hazards.
• The Calls: A caller reads a term or phrase and reads aloud an educational fact or tip.
• The Play: Participants mark the matching picture square on their card and yell “BINGO” when they complete a winning row or pattern.
